    Today, a number of opto electronic devices are being developed and manufactured using Obducat Nano Imprint Lithography systems. Rear Projection TV (RPTV) and projector equipment can benefit from wire grid polarizer that substantially improve image quality. LCD screens with greater light intensity can be achieved by using high brightness LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes).


    Within LED, Obducat has been widely successful in a number of technology areas for improved picture quality and lower power consumption, as well as low cost of ownership.  The reason for this success is larger surfaces and minimized structures, thanks to the Obducat system Sindre®. The Sindre® platform provides a reliable manufacturing solution for patterning of sapphire substrates (PSS) and photonic crystals (PhC), combining high resolution and CD control with superior yield and excellent throughput performance.


     

    Obducat leads the development to enable replication on larger substrates, which is an important factor for patterning of sapphire substrates (PSS), photonic crystals (PhC), Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) and other LED-applications. With larger substrates and still maintaining a high throughput, along with the industrial introduction of Nano PSS, Obducat provides further improved cost of ownership and LED performance.
